I've been wearing eyeglasses for years and the older I've got the more I've had to wear them. From driving to using the computer, I tend to constantly have a pair perched on my head. One thing I have been meaning to buy for years but never actually managed to buy was a pair of prescription sunglasses. Thankfully Glasses Shop came along and rescued me with some fantastic sunglasses.
I've always been really dubious about buying eyeglasses online, mainly due to the fact I'm scared about prescriptions being wrong or the glasses just looking naff when they turned up. The process of buying them at Glasses Shop was a breeze. From selecting my style to popping my prescription in, I'm baffled as to why I was so scared about ordering glasses online as it was so easy. I opted for the Edith Round glasses which retail at $34.95 and include the prescription lenses I needed.
The glasses themselves took about 2 weeks to arrive. I was worried that summer would be over by the time they arrived, but getting a knock on the door on one of the hottest days of the year with a small parcel left me jumping for joy. They were snugly packaged in a cardboard shipping box and the glasses themselves were in a blue case. I'm probably going to buy a Disney inspired case for the glasses but loved that they came with a cleaning cloth.
Let's just say that these prescription sunglasses are revolutionary. Never would I have thought that sunglasses would be life changing for me. I've always struggled with driving in the summer as the glare tends to give me headache, these glasses however have completely cut that and I can drive and be protected. I also like how stylish these glasses are and I absolutely love that I can stay on trend with them! One thing I want to mention is how high quality these glasses are. At less than $40, I was dubious as to how hard wearing they would be but they are really strong and hard wearing and I can see myself having quite a few summers with them.
